This organization was launched right after 9/11 and has become the central portal for all the 9/11 truth movement organizations which is growing rapidly. It is run by Janice Matthews(Executive Director), David Kubiak [51](International Campaign Advisor) and Mike Berger(Media Coordinator), among others, and its advisory board includes Steven Jones, Barrie Zwicker and Faiz Khan.
The organization co-sponsored the Zogby Polls that have shown an increasing number of people believing the government has covered-up the real story of 9/11. A few of its sister and spin-off organizations include the 9/11 Visibility Project and Justice For 9/11. It also organizes gatherings and events, promotes “scholarly” research, warns about the discrediting effect of extreme alternative theories, and attempts to affect mainstream media coverage.
In October 2004, an alliance of over 114 prominent Americans, and 48 family members of those killed on 9/11, signed the 911Truth.org statement, in which they demand a new and “deeper” investigation into the events of 9/11.

The College of Business at ECU hosted Leader in Residence Thomas J. Tommy Spaulding as its keynote speaker for the 22nd Annual Beta Gamma Sigma Distinguished Lecture Series. His speech, titled Put People First and Business Will Follow, was held on April 16.
Spaulding, former president and CEO of the non-profit global leadership organization Up with People, is currently serving as the first Leader in Residence at ECU. In this role, he serves ECU in support of becoming The Leadership University, as espoused in the universitys strategic plan.

In 2010 Bon Secours Health System, Christus Health System, the Catholic Medical Mission Board and Caritas Peru joined forces to launch United Against Infant Mortality (Unidos Contra La Mortalidad Infantil) in Peru. United Against Infant Mortality is a World Health Organization (WHO) strategy aimed at decreasing the high incidence of morbidity and mortality in Peruvian children under the age of 5.
Key partners in United Against Infant Mortality are the Sisters of Bon Secours, the Sisters of Charity of Incarnate Word ministry in Chimbote, Peru’s Ministry of Health and the Pan American Health Organization. The partnership is intended to be a model for future expansion of the WHO strategy.
