lets assume you have say..100 members in your org. and you have to send them info from say "word", Excel, and power point. You have the newest and latest software in a powerful machine with Vista Ultra. You decide to make that info known by placing it on a disc so you can distribute it to the other members.
You use the Vista built in software to create the DVD disc.
Here’s the problem:
NOT EVERY ONE may have the same equipment or programs! Many of your org. members may have older programs that will not recognize the newest Word, Excel, or Power Point! Some may not have a DVD reader, or Vista Ultra!
Its best that you make your info available in the format that the majority can read! Thats why it’s important for a "management" staff set up parameters so that All members can get the info promptly without having to incur major expenses! I know about this as I belong to a national Org. and our National Educational Officer has sent out numirus disc most of us cant read!
