  • back to school organization.?

Posted by admin on February 27th, 2010 and filed under organization strategies | 3 Comments »

each year i change my organization strategies with my subjects, and this year ill be a junior, so its basically my most important year. over the years ive gone from binders for individual subjects, and grouping them together. (always manage to break) last year i tried putting everything in a folder with paper, but often the paper rips out, and all it takes is to drop it once, for everything to explode in a giant mess. how can i be better organized this year? any good ideas? thanks!

Well, what I do is I have one main binder that I take to every class.
That binder has different dividers/folder-things in it, where I stick all the junk for each class.

If I need more room than that, like for stuff that I’m supposed to keep all year I have a binder for that one class, that I mostly leave in my locker.

Then, I have a notebook for each class.

It works for me. I’m in 8th grade. ;o

When I was junior, I organized it by period when I was at school and after the semester, I’d put it into Subject i.e. English, Math, Science etc…. Then at the end of the year, I’d put it all into a binder with the year.

Instead of using a regular binder, get something like a Trapper Keeper that can zip up so even if you drop it, nothing falls out.
