What is an example of a situation in which an organization would use a push strategy? What is an example of a situation in which an organization would use a pull strategy?

there’s is no particular situation to use push or pull strategies in black and white.

But marketers use push strategies in the early periods of a new product launch, new competitor entrance, sales declining due to lack of interest of the product, to motivate retailers and their sales force to sell the product

when the demand is decreasing within consumers we can use pull strategies. at sales declining in a short period of time… the options are advertising, sales promotion towards the consumers, draws competition
